About Us

We started Gumbo Medical, LLC when we lived in Louisiana.   We decided that it would be a good name for a company that handles a whole variety of medical equipment.  Basically, like the Southern “gumbo soup”, which combines a whole slew of ingredients, our business is the same.  We handle a wide variety of products.  Whatever you are looking for, we can usually find it for you – for the lowest price on the market.  So, even though we are no longer located in the South, we kept the name.  As quirky as it is, our customers remember it.  Plus, it shows that we are a unique and original medical equipment dealer.  We serve our customers in a way that we would like to be treated ourselves: with respect, service, and appreciation.

Although we have a wide range of medical equipment in stock, we do specialize in some particular medical items.  Hospital beds, stretchers, operating room tables, and power exam chairs are our “specialty”.   We always have these in stock, and ready to be shipped to our customers. 

All of our equipment is sold patient-ready. We take pride in the equipment we sell.  Also, all of our equipment includes a warranty.
